Our Story

MatrixOneSource is a Jacksonville, Florida-based company that began in 1999, with its roots in the financial services industry. The company started out as, and continues to be to this day, one of the preferred providers of PEO services in the areas of human resources, payroll processing, and related employment services. With its primary focus on providing first-in-class customer service, MatrixOneSource grew rapidly, experiencing triple-digit growth in its early years.

Meet the Team.

Ralph J. Perez | President

In his role as President, Ralph heads the MatrixOneSource growth initiatives while expanding the company’s sales and support teams. As President, Ralph is leveraging his proven leadership skills, new business development acumen, and hands-on management approach to help the company’s current and future clients. Since 1996, Ralph has been engaged in progressive leadership roles in the outsourcing industry. His primary goal is to redefine how businesses operate by constantly challenging his team to solve its clients’ biggest internal challenges and enabling MatrixOneSource clients to do what they do best.

Brian Pincket | Vice President & General Counsel

In his capacity as General Counsel of MatrixOneSource, Brian is responsible for providing and managing the legal support for all of the affiliated entities and operating divisions of MatrixOneSource. Brian has over 28 years of experience representing large and small businesses in the areas of corporate governance, human resources, acquisitions, commercial finance, and regulatory matters. Before joining MatrixOneSource, Brian served as outside counsel with Akerman LLP and as in-house counsel to Bank of America, Bombardier Capital, and Southeast Toyota Distributors. Brian is a graduate of the University of Miami, Florida (Presidential Scholar; BBA-Finance, cum laude, 1982) and The Florida State University College of Law (JD, With Honors, 1985).

James W. Marshall | Chief Financial Officer

Mr. Marshall earned a BS in Accounting from the University of Kentucky and has been a controller/CFO for various organizations for more than 25 years. Mr. Marshall’s employment history includes 15 years as a controller in Cincinnati, OH. He spent nine of those years as the controller of The Dapper Co., a construction supply company, the remaining six years were as the controller of Reliance Resources, Inc., a Professional Employer Organization. He has been the CFO for MatrixOneSource for the last 10 years.

Jay Ashe | Vice President of Business Development

Jay has 10 + years of Sales and Business Development experience at MatrixOneSource since joining in 2004. As Vice President of Business Development Jay is responsible for meeting the needs of all clients, new and existing, to assure the clients’ expectations of MatrixOneSource products and services are met. As part of the company’s requirements, Jay has held a Property and Casualty 2-20 license for the past 6 years with bi-annual CE credits to remain in compliance with the Department of Financial Services. Prior to joining MatrixOneSource, Jay had a successful 15-year career in the Industrial Construction arena.
